Matt Oates

Matt Oates joined ALSAC/St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital® in October 2005, and he has held various positions with progressive levels of responsibility.

As Sr. Director of Marketing, he leads the teams responsible for brand strategy, market research and enterprise-wide brand campaigns. As a strategic self-starter, Matt is most proud of helping St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital develop into an iconic brand.

In 2011, the Memphis Business Journal recognized his professional and personal efforts as a Top 40 Under 40 recipient, at age 29. He was also identified as a High Potential (HiPo) employee in 2018 by his Executive Leadership Team. Matt holds an MBA from Union University and a BBA from The University of Memphis. Matt resides in Germantown, Tennessee with his wife, Joni, and four-year-old daughter, Joanna.
