DMA/DMANF Nonprofit Dual Membership

Dual membership is unique to the nonprofit community.

Please note that membership in DMAW or other professional organizations does not translate to or include dual membership in the DMA and DMANF as these organizations are not affiliated with the DMA and DMA Nonprofit Federation.

DMANF member benefits:

  • As with the DMA, DMANF membership is organizational, not individual. All employees of member organizations receive DMA and DMANF benefits.
  • Dual members receive the Nonprofit Federation member rate for all activities and events sponsored by the DMANF.
  • Only dual members may take advantage of nonprofit group rates on our flagship Washington and Chicago Nonprofit Conferences.
  • Dual members receive subscriptions to our top-notch publications — News Update e-newsletter and the Journal — and special policy and ethics alerts from General Counsel Xenia “Senny” Boone, Esquire.
  • Dual members post free (up to three positions per week) in Nonprofit Careers e-bulletin. Distributed every Tuesday at 8:00 AM ET to over 8,000 recipients via email, our website, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.
  • DMA and DMANF closely monitor legislation and regulations at the federal and state level. DMA and DMANF-led coalitions continue to successfully oppose efforts to limit the charitable deduction. We also continue to guard the nonprofit postal rate with full weight and support of the DMA’s Government Affairs team.

What current members are saying:

“We are a member of the DMA Nonprofit Federation because we needed comparative data and industry insight that can only come from a group of true peers in the sector.”

“The DMANF is the only organization where you have access to such a wealth of knowledge, years of experience and peers that are willing to share data and statistics, along with the their involvement with governmental affairs and postal issues.”

“I am a member of the DMA Nonprofit Federation because I view it as the leading source to stay on top of relevant information for the industry, but more importantly, it provides me with an incredible networking opportunity to stay in touch with thought leaders and decision makers.”

“Now more than ever before, the landscape of direct marketing is changing so rapidly. We absolutely need to join forces with an organization that has a powerful membership, a strong voice and influence to help us, protect our interests and be our go-to source for information on today’s and tomorrow’s issues. It’s not something that I am willing to negotiate with senior management when I am budgeting expense each year.”

“I recommend that you consider being part of the DMA because it’s a leading global trade association comprised of businesses and nonprofits that use multi-channel and multi-vehicle direct marketing tools and techniques. The DMA is an advocate of responsible marketing (across vehicle and channels), it provides a vehicle for consumers to be informed about direct marketing best practices and provides a great platform for marketers to network and share cutting-edge research, strategies and technologies across industries.”
