What happened to the National Federation of Nonprofits and DMA Nonprofit Council?
The National Federation of Nonprofits and the Direct Marketing Association’s Nonprofit Council merged on July 1, 2000 and became the DMA Nonprofit Federation. The Federation is a 501(c)6 organization and the only member segment of the DMA with a dedicated full-time professional staff.
How can I get a list of DMA Nonprofit Federation members?
The Federation does not supply or sell lists of its members, however we suggest contacting Statlistics:

How do agencies and vendors participate in the DMA Nonprofit Federation?
Agencies and vendors may participate in the DMA Nonprofit Federation by becoming a Corporate Partner. More information about DMA Nonprofit Federation Corporate Partnership is available here.
How do I start a nonprofit organization or charity?
The Nonprofit Federation does not assist in the creation of nonprofit organizations. The NPF staff recommends Anthony Mancuso's How to Form a Nonprofit Corporation (National Edition), available through Amazon.com.
How do I know if my nonprofit or charity qualifies for nonprofit postage rates?
Many nonprofit organizations qualify for special postage rates, which they use to send bulk mailings to members and prospective donors. But Nonprofit Standard A (formerly called Third Class) rates carry numerous restrictions on the contents of the mail.
Members of the Federation may contact our office for individual assistance with questions about eligibility, appeals, and related subjects.
